Weave Types
Broadcloth
Smooth, plain, tightly-woven fabric. Lighter weight. Silky hand, with a light sheen. Higher thread count.
Dobby
Uses a special loom to incorporate geometric patterns and/or textures. Weights vary. Shows less wrinkling. Great color range.
Oxford
Basket-woven cotton that crosses a single color with white. Heavier weight. Casual or dressy.
Twill
Cotton woven, with a pattern of diagonal ribs. Shows less wrinkling. Drapes well.
Voile
Soft, sheer cotton, with a gauze-like texture. Great in warmer climates. Semi-transparent. Crisp finish.
