Measurements Video Captions

[video1:Measuring yourself at home is quick and easy. The entire process will take less than 3 minutes. All you will need is a tape measure and mirror to double check yourself. If you don’t have a tape measure, just fill out our measuring tape request form and we will happily send you one. In order to get started, please enter your height. Then, take everything out of your pockets and stand naturally. Be honest with your measurements. This is what will make your Double R shirt look best on your unique body. Now, take a deep breath, relax and let’s begin]

[video2:Wrap the tape under your arms and around the largest part of your bust. Make sure it is also around the largest part of your back/shoulder blades. Hold the tape parallel to the ground all the way around. Allow approximately 1 thumb of slack between your body and the tape. Relax your arms and shoulders. Enter this number in the Chest field of the form]

[video3: Wrap the measuring tape around your mid-section directly at your belly button. As you did in the Chest Measurement, hold the tape parallel to the ground and allow approximately 1 thumb of slack between your body and the tape. Relax your abdominals. Don’t be alarmed that the measurement is not the same as your jeans’ size. Just look at the number on the tape and enter it in the Waist field of the form]

[video4: Stand up tall with your back straight and heels together. Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. Keep the tape parallel to the floor, and again allowing approximately 1 thumb of slack between your body and the tape. Enter this number in the Hips field of the form]

[video5: Place the top of the tape measure where your collarbone, where your shoulder and neck meet. Extend the tape diagonally down the front of your torso over the top of the biggest part of your chest. Find your navel and use it as the end point for the measurement. Enter this number in the Neck to Navel field of the form]

[video6:The following measurements are optional and only need to be taken if you have broad shoulders, long or short arms or have a specific length in mind for your shirt. You only need to fill out the specific measurement that pertains to you and can skip ahead by clicking “next”. If you don’t have a need for these extra measurements, then push “finish” and you will be taken to a page to complete your order]

[video7:Place the top of the tape measure where your shoulder meets your arm. This is where the sleeve seam should ideally sit. Measure from this point and follow your natural curve, arch the measuring tape up to the neck area and back down to the opposite shoulder. Enter this number in the Shoulder to Shoulder field of the form.]

[video8: Place the top of the tape measure where your shoulder meets your arm. This is where the sleeve seam should ideally sit. Keeping your arms relaxed with a slight bend at the elbow, measure from this point to the highest knuckle on your thumb. Enter this number in the Sleeve Length field of the form.]

[video9: Place the top of the tape measure 1” above your collarbone where your shoulder and neck meet. Extend the tape down the front of your torso over the top of the biggest part of your chest. Find your ideal shirt length and use it as the end point for the measurement. Enter this number in the Shirt Length field of the form.]

[video10: You did it! You can save your measurements for future orders by creating an account with us. We’ll keep your information on file so that you won’t have to measure yourself each time you place an order. Please let us know if anything changes with your measurements.]
